Pressing of Connecting Material
The Haeger 618 Plus and Haeger 624 Plus machines are equipped with an automatic feeding system for inserting the connecting material.
In addition to the standard pressing tools, the LSC 6010 machines from SV metal are equipped with tools from Böllhoff for cold joining of sheet metals – clinching. The combination of the punch and a die creates a very firm joint, either round or square. Sheet metals connected using this method don’t require any further connecting elements and there is no heat load. Furthermore, no pre-treatment or after-treatment of the sheet metal is necessary. This joining method is also kind to the environment.
The Haeger machines are also equipped with the technology for cold joining of sheet metals – clinching. These machines have their own special tools as a replacement for spot welding.
